Move to Quartzsite
Move to Quartzsite
When moving to a different town, what are the usual things you have to take note of? Of course, you have to consider your employment. Unless you have millions of dollars in the bank, you have to be sure that you can easily get a job in the place where you are moving. That will not be a problem in Quartzsite, Arizona. As of 2006, the unemployment rate is a meager 4.8%. If you are interested in serving a private employer, you can look into these major companies—Love’s Auto Truck Center, Pilot Truck Center, and Horizon Bank. If your skills are not appropriate to the nature of the mentioned companies, there are also public employers such as ADOT, Quartzsite Post Office, and Quartzsite Elementary School District.
Besides employment, conduct a little fishing expedition of your own on the town’s facilities before making the big move to Quartzsite. Based on what we have seen, some of the things that fall under Pros are the town park (which has water-feature, ball fields/courts for basketball and volleyball, children’s playground, skateboard path, remote controlled airplanes flying site, and horseshoe pits), Celia’s Rainbow Gardens, recreation centers, a library that is open to the public, a senior-citizens hall, and a 27-hole desert golf course. Currently, the sewer and water system is being developed so it may be a hassle if you move to Quartzsite today. So far, that is the only thing that is not so good about the town.
